Four men were shot, two fatally, during a gun attack in Waterford, Portmore, St. Catherine, last night.
The deceased have been identified as 26-year-old Antoine Reid, otherwise called “junior” or “gong”, and 26-year-old Shahid Roach, otherwise called “sid”, both of Waterford.
Reports are that about 10:30 p.m., Reid and Roach were among a group of men gathered at the intersection of Logwood and Dias roads when a grey motorcar drove up.
A man reportedly alighted from the vehicle, brandished a handgun and opened fire, hitting the men multiple times in their upper bodies.
The gunman escaped in the waiting vehicle, which sped away from the area.
The police were summoned, and the wounded men were transported to the hospital, where Reid and Roach were pronounced dead.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
