Another break though in case where cop and taximan was killed Loop Jamaica

A team of officers assigned to the St Catherine South Special Operations Branch apprehended a man, who is the third suspect in the double murder of Corporal Delwin Jackson and Kenroy Chandler, a taxi operator who was killed in Central Village, St. Catherine.

From information garnered about 7:15 am, on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 residents heard explosions and summoned the police. On their arrival, Corporal Jackson was seen lying on the roadway with multiple gunshot wounds while Chandler, was later found in bushes with gunshot wounds.

Both were transported to the hospital where death was confirmed.

On Wednesday, January 04 the third suspect was nabbed in Lucea, Hanover as a result of relentless pursuit from the Hanover and St. James Operational Teams. The operation also yielded one .38 revolver and three .38 cartridges at the suspect’s house.

He was accosted and taken into custody; however, his identity is being withheld pending further investigations. -year-olds Andre Martin and Daniel Gillespie of Big Lane, Central Village in St. Catherine were previously charged on Monday, July 04, 2022 and are scheduled to re-appear before the Gun Court to answer to the charges laid against them.
