A curfew has been imposed in sections of the Grants Pen community in the St Andrew North Police Division.

This followed a drive-by gun attack which resulted in the deaths of three persons, including the reputed don of the community.

The curfew began at 6pm on Saturday, April 2 and is to remain in effect until 6pm on Monday, April 4.

The boundaries of the curfew are as follows:

NORTH: Along Grants Pen Road

WEST: Along Morgan Lane (cul-de-sac)

SOUTH: Along Old Church Avenue, Old Church Road and Old Church

Avenue.

EAST: Along Grants Pen Road to Old Church Avenue and Old Church Road.

During the hours of the curfew, all persons within its boundaries are required to remain within their premises unless otherwise authorised in writing by the ground commander.
