The scene at Kingston College on Monday was one of celebration following the school’s 33rd win at the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls’ Championships at the National Stadium on Saturday.
After five days of competition, the champions ended the boys’ championship with 372 points to dethrone the Old Hope Road-based Jamaica College, which finished second with 300.83 points.
Calabar (170), St Jago High (147), Edwin Allen (95), St Elizabeth Technical (88), Excelsior (56), Wolmer’s (55), Herbert Morrison (35.33), and Manchester High (32) round out the top 10 schools for the boys.

On the girls’ side, Edwin Allen High retained their crown at the 111th staging of the championships, finishing on 352 points. Hydel High scored 295 points for second place and St Jago finished third on 249 points.
