Police are now gathered in a section of Port Antonio close to the police station where two ATM machines exploded. Full details of the incident are still not clear at this time but reports are that at about 4:30 am persons living close to the town reported that they heard a loud sound and alerted the police. A team of officers went to investigate and saw smoke and fire coming from the area where the ATM machines were located. Firefighters were called to the location to extinguish the blaze. Further checks revealed that the ATM machines had exploded. Checks are being made to ascertain if anyone was injured in the incident. More details later.
