Fifty-nine-year-old George Kellier, a labourer of Prospect district, Green Island, Hanover, succumbed to injuries he sustained in a motor vehicle collision in the parish on Saturday, March 25.
Reports are that about 4:10 pm, Kellier was operating his motorcycle along the Industry Cove main road. This was while the driver of a Voxy motorcar who was heading to Negril in the opposite direction, overtook a lane of traffic and collided with Kellier’s motorbike.
Kellier died on the spot.
The police were alerted and the scene processed and the deceased man’s body moved to the morgue for a post-mortem examination.
Investigations are ongoing into the incident.
