Several female entrepreneurs will get the opportunity to showcase their products and/or services at the upcoming We Inspire Women Wealth & Wellness brunch event happening on Sunday, August 27 at the Pegasus Hotel in Kingston.
The women empowerment event is hosted and organised by We Inspire founder and CEO, Cortia Bingham McKenzie. The organisation, which is now in its seventh year, is focused on providing event experiences, specifically for women and girls, built on the four pillars of networking, wealth, wellness and empowerment.
Women who are interested in the opportunity to showcase their products/services at the event can contact We Inspire Women at [email protected] for further information. The deadline for exhibition registration is August 12.
“We Inspire Women is built on the foundation of supporting, encouraging and inspiring other women to become the best version of themselves, despite setbacks. Currently, statistics show that 70 per cent of our economy is driven by micro and small and medium-sized businesses. The majority of this cohort is women. This is why it is important that we continue to provide a platform where women with experience in business, networking and finance can be accessible and share their experiences in hopes of uplifting each other and passing on a legacy of success”, Bingham McKenzie shared.
Bingham McKenzie noted that while there are limited spaces for the exhibition, she is excited to welcome female entrepreneurs to the event, as it offers the opportunity to get their products/services in front of a captive audience, which can provide an instant boost for the women’s businesses and brands.
Additionally, she shared that the exhibitors will also benefit from the wealth of knowledge and expertise being shared at the event from the numerous speakers on the line-up. The speakers and panelist for the event are Dr. Stacy Richards Kennedy – regional manager for the Caribbean, Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean; Lauri-Ann Ainsworth – CEO, Richard Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship in the Caribbean; Michelle Chong – CEO and co-founder, Honey Bun Ltd; Valerie Grant – founder and chairwoman of Geotech Vision; Michelle-Ann Letman – founder and CEO, PR Belle Media; Alyshia Miller Powell, philanthropist, model and entrepreneur; Charlenia Snider – brand director for Powerhouse Women Leaders and Nayana Williams – CEO and co-founder, Lifespan Co Ltd.
