Dancehall star Spice had a lot to say in an Instagram Live on Friday, telling her “besties” she wanted to be transparent and vulnerable as she detailed her health scare a few months ago while in the Dominican Republic.
“I died in the DR (Dominican Republic),” the queen of dancehall said as she recounted how she ended up in the hospital, several surgeries, and her road to recovery.
As she detailed her hospitalisation with hernia and sepsis, Spice admitted that she was scared to share some of the specifics, including images from the ordeal, but she knows her journey is a testimony. She also wanted to be open and honest with her besties.
While sharing details of her story, she glorified God, crediting the Almighty from bringing her through it all.
