Jamaicans should brace for rains this week, as a trough is expected to move into the central Caribbean today, fuelling unstable weather across the island through to the end of the week.

In fact, the Meteorological Service said in its 5am forecast Tuesday that residents should expect cloudiness and rainfall across most parishes, with periods of showers and thunderstorms especially across eastern parishes.
