The police high command says the Jamaica Constabulary Force’s (JCF) Criminal Records Office (CRO), which was closed due to the passage of Hurricane Beryl, has resumed its services.

“Every effort is being made to accommodate the persons who missed appointments during the period July 2 – July 4,” the high command said in a release.

“This however applies to its Duke Street, downtown Kingstonlocation only. All other sub-sites (St. James [Summit], St Mary [Pompano Bay] and Clarendon [May Pen]) remain closed due to power outages,” the release stated.

Every effort is being made to resume normalcy as quickly aspossible. Members of the public are advised to contact the Criminal Records Office at 876-922-3221 to reschedule appointments and for any further questions, the police said.

“The Criminal Records Office apologises for any inconvenience this interruption in its service has caused,” the release stated.
