Man held after fatal stabbing of hotel bar manager in MoBay Loop Jamaica

A man has been arrested by the police in St James following the fatal stabbing of a hotel worker at his Montego Bay, St James home on Wednesday evening.

The dead man has been identified as 43-year-old Lincoln Green, a hotel bar manager of Claude Clarke Avenue in Montego Bay.

Reports from the Montego Bay police are that about 6:30pm, residents saw the suspect inflicting stab wounds to Green and intervened.

The police were summoned and Green was later found lying on his veranda with multiple stab wounds to his upper body.

The suspect, who was reportedly attempting to flee the scene, was apprehended.

Green was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The suspect’s identity is being withheld pending further investigations, the police said.
