One man who is involved in lottery scamming was arrested and charged in Blytheson, St James during a pre-dawn anti-lottery scamming operation.
Charged with possession of Identity Information with Intent is 38-year-old Noel Dawkins of Blytheson district in the parish.
Reports are that between the hours of 4:15 a.m. and 8:00 am, officers assigned to the Lottery Scamming Task Force were on an operation in the area.
A house occupied by Dawkins was searched, during which a cellular phone belonging to him was found; the device contained identity information of persons living overseas.
The phone was seized and Dawkins arrested. A court date is being finalised.
