As part of its continued growth in Jamaica, Starbucks, in partnership with its operating licensee Caribbean Coffee Baristas Limited (CCBL) has unveiled a new store in Jamaica, marking its eleventh café opening on the island.

Situated at Parkway Square, a recently established shopping centre in Portmore, St Catherine, this 1779 square ft. store will serve as a focal point for customers to connect with friends and family over a cup of coffee while being a convenient alternative for those traversing to Starbucks stores in the nearby city of Kingston.

Customers visiting this store will have a sense of familiarity through the welcoming atmosphere of Starbucks cafés, convenience and on-the-go coffee experience.

“This highly anticipated store opening will bring the third-place experience to Portmore, allowing Portmore customers to enjoy the Starbucks Experience from the comfort of their hometown,” said Roxanne Dixon-Rose, Regional Director of CCBL.

“This furthers our commitment to providing an unmatched coffee experience by keeping our customers at our core and finding ways to exceed their expectations. We look forward to connecting with the community while providing a place where everyone is welcomed.”

Customers visiting Starbucks Parkway Square can enjoy a variety of handcrafted espresso-based beverages from the classic Starbucks menu, seasonal innovations and an elevated coffee craft that allows for customizable drinks.

The new Parkway Square store, designed under the Greener Stores Framework, reflects Starbuck’s commitment to environmental sustainability while pushing the brand to bring bold and innovative design to our customers.

By integrating sustainable features such as 100 per cent LED Lighting, filters and low-flow plumbing fixtures and processes, the store is designed to reduce water consumption by 30 per cent and is energy efficient.
