Sterling Asset Management recently demonstrated their commitment to supporting education and community development by donating JM$400k to the Maxfield Park Children’s Home.
The best part is, the donation is made in time for the new September 2024 school year.
The Sterling team believes that ‘every child deserves a solid foundation for learning and growth’, and as such they’re committed to contributing to this reality.
Michelle Valentine, assistant vice president of Marketing & Communications at Sterling Asset Management, underscored the significance of this contribution.
‘Supporting education and institutions such as Maxfield Park Children’s Home is of great importance to us…,’ Valentine shared in a release.
Renae Tuckett-Palmer, Maxfield Park Children’s Home general manager, expressed her gratitude for the generous donation.
‘On behalf of the Maxfield Park Children’s Home, I want to extend our deepest gratitude for Sterling’s incredibly generous donation. Your contribution will make a significant difference in ensuring our children are well-prepared and equipped for the upcoming school year. Your support not only alleviates the financial burden of back-to-school expenses but also brings immense joy and encouragement to our children and staff. We are deeply thankful for your kindness and look forward to continuing our partnership in making a positive impact on the lives of these wonderful children.’
Sterling Asset Management has a long-standing history of giving back to the community, and this recent donation highlights the company’s ongoing dedication to uplifting Jamaica’s youth through education and empowerment initiatives.
Aa history that involves their Vice President of Sales & Marketing Toni-Ann Neita-Elliott.
Neita-Elliott, who was also present at the handover ceremony, added that ‘Sterling is deeply committed to social responsibility, and this donation is part of our broader efforts to support communities and invest in the next generation’.
The donation, which took place on Friday, August 16, is intended to assist the home in preparing its residents for the upcoming school year.
