A man who was shot and injured in the gun attack on Morgan Lane, Grants Pen, St Andrew, Friday afternoon, succumbed to his wounds while being treated at the hospital.

He is the third person to have died from the incident, which took place at about 6:00 pm, with the alleged don for the community, Bombsha ‘Bomber’ Miller and his brother, known as ‘Joe’ being the other victims.

Miller and ‘Joe’ died on the scene with their bodies remaining on the ground for hours, before they were eventually removed.

According to reports, a car drove into the area, from which men alighted and opened fire on the group of men that included the alleged community don. The attackers returned to the car, which made a speedy retreat from the community.

It was the second shooting incident in the community within weeks as on March 17, a man who reportedly fired shots at individuals he had a dispute with, was chopped and hospitalised under police guard.
