The Kingston West police seized a firearm and several rounds of ammunition during an operation along Sunlight Street, Kingston 13 on Monday, July 17.
Reports from the Denham Town police are that at about 6:30 pm, a team conducted a snap raid at premises in the area. During the search, one black Intratec 9mm pistol along with sixteen 9mm rounds and one m16 magazine were recovered in the hallow of an ackee tree.
No one was arrested in relation to the seizure.
