Wigton stock price kicks of new trading week at $1.07 Loop Jamaica

Wigton Windfarm led Friday gains on the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE).

The stock gained 11.5 per cent to $1.07, followed by Pulse, which dipped 13 per cent to $2.12 and Blue Power Group which gained 10 per cent to $3.06, and Ciboney gained 9.0 per cent to $1.25.

The top declining stocks were Ttech Ltd which lost 15.5 per cent to $2.07, JMMB Preference shares which dipped 15 per cent to $1.68, Transjamaican Highway which dipped 12 per cent to $0.02, Margaritaville Turks which lost 11 per cent to $14.25, and Eppley which dipped 10 per cent to $34.21.

The JSE Combined Index advanced by 1,460.87 points (0.42 per cent) to close at 345,354.01 points and the volume traded amounted to 45,786,412 valued at $147,482,354.06.

The JSE Main Index advanced by 1,493.04 points (0.45 per cent) to close at 332,428.43 points and the volume traded amounted to 24,192,561 valued at $99,646,237.88.

The Junior Market Index advanced by 6.92 points (0.18 per cent) to close at 3,835.25 points and the volume traded amounted to 21,593,851 valued at $47,836,116.18.

The JSE All Jamaican Composite Index advanced by 1,873.44 points (0.51 per cent) to close at 372,434.54 points and the volume traded amounted to 24,181,528 valued at $99,414,404.11.

Overall Market activity resulted from trading in 108 stocks of which 51 advanced, 37 declined and 20 traded firm.

Volume leaders included Spur Tree, Wigton Windfarm, and Transjamaican Highway.
