Over 20 people were left homeless after a fire destroyed approximately 10 houses in a tenement at 31 to 33 Water Lane in downtown Kingston.
Several children were among those affected. There were no injuries reported.
According to police reports, the fire reportedly started around 3 am.
Firefighters on the scene stated that three units responded to contain the flames. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
