
A 48-hour curfew has been imposed in areas of the St Andrew South Police Division.
The curfew began at 6:00 pm, on Sunday, February 23 and will remain in effect until Tuesday, January 25.
The areas for the curfew are as follows:
East: From an imaginary line at Chisholm Avenue/Maxfield Avenue travelling southerly to East Avenue intersecting at Marcus Garvey Drive.
South: From an imaginary line from the coastline at Marcus Garvey Drive to the vicinity of East Avenue to the Duhaney River.
West: From an imaginary line from the Duhaney River to the Kingston Harbour
North: From an imaginary to the Happy Grove community, continue onto Chisholm Avenue/Maxfield Avenue to the intersection of the divisional boundary of the St. Andrew South and St Andrew Central.
During the hours of the curfew, all persons within its boundaries are required to remain within
their premises, unless otherwise authorized by the ground commander
