Jamaica is renowned for its many influences worldwide. Music, sports, the lifestyle, and the spirit of our people are among some of those coveted influences. Culture and gastronomy are fast-rising prominent facets of the culture that have already etched out their spaces globally.

Mouthwatering food, vibrant spirit, and this palpable energy are some cultural elements the Jamaica Food and Drink Festival (JFDF) have managed to capture effortlessly at every festival.

For its 10th iteration, the festival harkens back to its origins to celebrate flavours. The aptly themed ‘10 Years of Flavour’ affair, slated for November 7-10 involves an epicurean journey that encapsulates the spirit of a true Jamaican festival experience.

On Wednesday, foodies gathered to kick off the countdown to the highly anticipated event at the Jamaica Food and Drink Kitchen in Kingston.

Guests indulged in many a culinary delight – a mere teaser to gauge the flavours and fulfilling experiences that lie ahead.
