Weather disturbance (Source: NHC)
The US National Hurricane Centre (NHC) is keeping close watch over a broad area of low pressure which is likely to develop over the southwestern Caribbean Sea in a few days.
The NHC in an update on Sunday said gradual development is possible thereafter, and a tropical depression could form late this week or over the weekend when the system begins to drift northward or northeastward over the southwestern and south-central Caribbean Sea.
The disturbance has a 0 per cent (low) formation chance through 48 hours and a 40 per cent (medium) formation chance through 7 days.
