Man bolted after hearing nearly 20 year sentence for gun and assault charges

Police have launch a manhunt for a convict who escaped from custody minutes after he was sentenced at the Supreme Court in downtown, Kingston.
The man now on the run has been identified as Anthony Williams, otherwise called Pops, of an Allman Town, Kingston address.
Williams, 22, was recently found guilty of illegal possession of firearm and assault at common law.
After hearing that an over 14 years sentenced would be handed down on the charges Williams bolted from the courtroom and then jumped from the second floor of the building onto Tower Street before escaping.
