Supreme Ventures Racing and Entertainment Limited (SVREL) announced on Monday that International Game Technology (IGT) will return as an official sponsor of the Mouttet Mile Invitational on December 7, marking its third consecutive year of support for the event.
“We’re very happy to welcome IGT as an official sponsor of the Mouttet Mile,” said Christopher Wills, vice president of operations at SVREL during a signing ceremony at the IGT office in New Kingston. “IGT’s commitment to innovation and excellence aligns perfectly with our vision for this prestigious race. They have been a sponsor since the first staging, and we see their commitment for a third year as a strong endorsement, not only of the December 7 event but also of their support for our mission to elevate horse racing in Jamaica and create world-class entertainment experiences at Caymanas Park.”
The Mouttet Mile Invitational, a Grade One race for three-year-olds and up, covers a mile distance and will offer a record-breaking purse of US$250,000 in 2024.
