A policeman is dead following a crash in Portmore, St Catherine.
Reports are that at about 8 pm on Wednesday, the constable was travelling in the two East section of Portmore when his vehicle collided with a Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) bus.
The injured officer was rushed to hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
News of the death has sent shock waves across the Jamaica Constabulary Force.
