Salt Spring Primary and Infant School students enjoying their treat
The Montego Bay Jerk & Food Festival (MBJFF) recently held a Christmas treat for its adopted Salt Spring Primary & Infant School, culminating the year with a special celebration.
As part of this initiative, MBJFF donated two state-of-the-art smart TVs to enhance the school's access to modern educational resources. Over the years, the festival has organized various events like Back-to-School treats and Christmas celebrations, provided scholarships, and supported renovations to improve school facilities.
This effort was made possible through the generous contributions of key partners, including The Best Dressed Chicken, President Ice, and the MBJFF community. Their collaboration reflects the festival's commitment to giving back to the communities that support its annual celebration.
“We are immensely grateful to our partners and the broader community for their continued support of the Montego Bay Jerk & Food Festival,” expressed festival promoter John Lindo. “Their contributions not only ensure the success of our annual event but also enable us to undertake meaningful projects that positively impact the lives of children and families in Salt Spring.”
