A 48-hour curfew has been imposed in the Barbican, St Andrew.
The curfew took effect at 6:00 pm on Friday, January 10, 2025 and will remain in effect until 600 pm, on Sunday, January 12, 2025.
The boundaries of the curfew are:
NORTH- From the intersection of Grants Pen Road and Barbican Road to the intersection of
Essex Avenue and Barbican Road, Kingston8.
EAST- From the intersection of Essex Avenue and Barbjcan Road to Lot 13 Essex Avenue Kingston 8.
SOUTH - From the intersection of Lot 13 Essex Avenue to 15 Dulwich Drive, Kingston 8.
WEST- From 15 Dulwich Drive to the intersection of Grants Pen Road and Barbican Road, Kingston 8.
During the hours of the curfew, persons within the boundaries of the curfew are required to remain indoors unless otherwise authorized by the person in charge of enforcing the curfew.
