Prime Minister Andrew Holness has announced two new ministerial appointments.

Senator Audrey Marks has been appointed as Minister without Portfolio in the Office of the Prime Minister with responsibility for Efficiency, Innovation and Digital Transformation.

This is while Senator Delano Seiveright has been appointed as Minister of State in the Ministry of Tourism, where he has been serving as Senior Advisor and Strategist.

In his new role, Seiveright will be focusing on increasing the linkages between the tourism sector and the wider economy, this in a bid to have more Jamaicans benefit directly from the industry.

Both Marks and Seiveright are to be sworn in as ministers at King’s House on Monday.
