Prime Minister Dr. Andrew Holness says all criminals should know by now that they will not get away with their crimes.
Dr. Holness made the statement during yesterday’s visit to St. Elizabeth, where Commanding Officer Senior Superintendent Coleridge Minto, gave an update.
According to SSP Minto, major crimes are down, with 14 fewer murders recorded so far in comparison to last year.
In relation to the recent murder of Kenyan born artist Mazola Wa Mwashighadi in Billys Bay, last week, SSP Minto said a suspect has been taken into custody.
In welcoming the update, Dr. Holness said all criminals will be caught and brought to justice.
He said all Jamaicans must work towards a crime free Christmas.
