Man who kidnapped girl in Clarendon slapped with multiple charges

A 44 year old man has been slapped with several charges after he reportedly kidnapped a 6 year old girl in Clarendon, on Tuesday.

He is Jeffery McKenzie, otherwise called Face.

Reports from the May Pen police are that the child went missing from school at about 2:30 p.m.

A high alert was issued.

Councillor for the Hayes division in Clarendon Scean Barnswell reportedly saw McKenzie with the child along the Bustamante Highway and apprehended him.

McKenzie was then handed over to the police.  

He was subsequently charged with kidnapping, forcible abduction and indecent assault.
