The Caribbean Examination Council will make modifications and adjustments for Jamaican candidates to include an extension of the period for submitting School-Based Assessments (SBAs).
This comes on the heels of Hurricane Melissa in October that caused significant damage to some parts of the island and disrupted lives.
Speaking at the CXC press conference now underway, Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of CXC Dr. Wayne Wesley said CXC will extend the timeline for submission of SBA’s for schools negatively impacted to June 15.
He further outlined that candidates can also defer to another session next year
