The government has allocated one hundred and fifty million dollars ($150M) towards the rebuilding of an infirmary in Trelawny.
The new facility will replace the original infirmary which was destroyed by Hurricane Melissa last October.
Local Government Minister Desmond McKenzie toured the construction site in Falmouth yesterday.
He said the project will be undertaken in 2 phases.
