Finance Minister challenges auditors to act decisively on stronger oversight

Finance Minister Fayval Williams has challenged auditors to act decisively when working to sharpen oversight across every level of government.
She was speaking at the government’s annual Audit Committees’ Conference yesterday.
The conference highlighted the crucial role audit committees play in fostering trust in public institutions.
Ms. Williams emphasized that auditors are partners in national renewal and guardians of public trust.
She underscored that trust is built when systems operate with discipline and when resilience is demonstrated in the face of change.
