Police identify JPS contractor who died while carrying out restoration work in Trelawny yesterday

The police have identified the independent Jamaica Public Service contractor, who died while carrying out restoration works in Butt-Up-Town Trelawny, yesterday.
He is 66-year-old Courtney Robinson of Wesley Road in Mandeville Manchester.
Police say about 4 PM Robinson was part of team of workers on emergency response duty in the area.
It’s reported that Robinson climbed a ladder which was attached to a light post and attempted to attach the safety belt to the post but accidentally touched one of the live wires and fell.
He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
