Flooding has been reported in sections of Hanover, as heavy rains continue to affect parts of the island.
The National Works Agency, NWA says a section of the main road between Lucea and Mosquito Cove in point is inundated.
It notes that this will impact commute between Montego Bay, St. James and Negril in Westmoreland.
Manager of Communication and Customer Services at the NWA, Stephen Shaw told Irie FM news that sections of Green Island are also flooded.
He is urging persons to exercise extreme caution.
The agency is reminding persons not to attempt to use flooded roadways.
Meantime, Ssme schools in Hanover were reportedly affected by flooding today.
Irie FM news was informed that the compound of Rhodes Hall High was inundated.
Some teachers and students of Pell River Primary, Upper Rock Spring Primary, Kendal Primary and Cave Valley Primary were also affected.
