At least 6 murders were recorded across the island between Sunday and Monday.

The incidents occurred in Clarendon, Manchester and St. Mary.

The deceased have been identified as 59-year-old businessman, Garfield Singh of Boscobel St. Mary, 32-year-old Kemoy Findlay of Highgate, also in St. Mary, 46-year-old Jennifer Williams of Clarendon, 4-year-old Saniyah Obrien of Woodstock Manchester, 61-year-old Norma Spence and 41-year-old Kerry-Ann Scott both of Clarendon.

Saniyah was killed in a gun attack in Land Settlement Manchester at around 4:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Gunmen reportedly opened fire on the vehicle in which the girl and her father were travelling.

Her father was admitted in stable condition.

Hours later, at about 10:30 p.m. Williams was chopped to death in May Pen, after a dispute with her partner.

Over in St. Mary, Singh was shot and killed by gunmen at his home in Boscobel, at around 4:00 a.m.

And at around 9:30 p.m., Findlay’s body was seen along the Rosend Main Road in the parish.

Police say he was shot.

The latest incident, a double murder occurred in Rocky Point, Clarendon, last night.

61-year-old Norma Spence and her daughter 41-year-old Kerry-Ann Scott were killed.

Another person was wounded.

The police are investigating all incidents.

Meanwhile, following the 2 murders in St. Mary, Head of the Division Superintendent, Anthony Wallace said lawmen have ramped up operational activities in the space.

The police reported earlier that 51 murders were recorded in Jamaica, up to Saturday February 7, a 40% reduction compared to last year.
