Seventy nine year old man found dead in Clarendon

A seventy-nine-year-old Clarendon man who was reported missing last week was found dead in his community, yesterday.

He is Seymour Henry, of Wesleyan, Thompson Town.

Reports from the Mocho police indicate that Seymour was last seen at home at about 5:00 a.m. on Wednesday February 11.

He was wearing a blue shirt, a pair of black pants, and a pair of black shoes.

Residents began searching for Seymour on Thursday morning.

Councillor for the Thompson Town Division Collin Henry said the search continued through to yesterday.

At around 2:00 p.m., residents reportedly found Seymour’s decomposing body in a gully.

Councillor Henry said CCTV footage assisted in locating Seymour’s body.

He said Seymour’s death has left the community in shock.

The police are investigating the circumstances surrounding Seymour Henry’s death.
