JTA President condemns circulation of fake document claiming 50% increase in salaries for all teachers

Jamaica Teacher’s Association (JTA) President Mark Malabver has condemned the circulation of a fake document which claims that there is an agreement for  a 50% increase in salaries for all teachers

The fraudulent document also outlined that there would be an immediate implementation of incremental payments. 

The JTA President clarified that a 50% increase was not proposed on its list of claims. 

He further stated the association is awaiting formal communication from the ministry regarding outstanding increments.
