JFJ calls on parliamentary committee reviewing Domestic Violence Legislation to quickly complete the process

Human rights lobby group Jamaicans for Justice has called for the parliamentary committee reviewing the Domestic Violence Legislation to quickly complete the process.
JFJ Executive Director Mickel Jackson noted that verbal abuse and its associated psychological trauma must be addressed, and the law must have sufficient protection for victims.
She was speaking yesterday at the Mico University College, while giving a report on a recent survey about citizens rights, roles, responsibilities and practices.
