Sixty (60) murders were recorded in February.
Police data indicate that at the end of last month, there were 93 murders.
There was a record low of thirty-three murders recorded at the end of January.
The Jamaica Constabulary Force says all divisions except Kingston Central and St. Andrew North have recorded murders so far.
St. Andrew South and St. James recorded the most with 11 each.
Trelawny and Portland had the least with 1 each.
Meanwhile, the JCF is reporting that cases of rape increased by 4.
Robberies decreased by 20 and break-ins by 22.
