A friend, mentor and renowned music historian, these are some of the words used to describe the late Walter Charles Clarke, more popularly known as Bob Clarke, at his home going service today.
Clarke died last month.
The Veteran Broadcaster and co-founder of Reggae Radio Irie FM was hailed for being a guide to many in the media and music fraternities.
The eulogy was delivered by another co-founder of Irie FM Clyde McKenzie.
Among those paying tribute were former Irie FM colleagues, Elise Kelly, Big A, Amber, and Dr. Darien Henry, as well as colleagues from Riddim FM, Saxophonist Dean Fraser and friend Donald Phipps.
They recounted tales of Bob’s jovial nature, his penchant for music history and his advocacy for justice.
