IRIE FM News journalist Shanice Gibbs wins PAJ’s Best Radio Feature/Documentary Award for 2025

IRIE FM News Journalist Shanice Gibbs Wins Press Association of Jamaica (PAJ) Award for Best Radio Feature or Documentary for 2025
Ms. Gibbs received the award at the PAJ’s Annual National Journalism Awards last night.
She was also nominated for Excellence in Reporting on Health and Wellness.
She won the Best Radio Feature/Documentary award for her piece entitled “Phones Copping Out, Police Stations & Dispatchers Under Scrutiny,” which aired last July.
She was also nominated for her other submission entitled “Behind the Journalist’s Mask, Covering Tragedies.”
National Journalism Week observed under the theme “Truth Always,” began on March 1 and culminated with the awards ceremony last night.
