Five men suspected of involvement in Lottery Scamming arrested

Five men suspected of involvement in lottery scamming were arrested along Kings Drive, in Kingston 8, yesterday.

Three motor vehicles and several electronic devices including cellphones and laptops were also seized.

Reports are that police conducted an intelligence led operation at an apartment occupied by the men.

The premises was searched and documents containing the names and addresses of persons living overseas were reportedly found.

Several iPhone, two android cell phones, an Apple ipod, a Mac Book, one HP Laptop and a sim card were found inside the apartment. 

Three vehicles- a Mercedes-Benz, BMW 4 series, and a BMW X6 found at the premises were also seized.

The five men were taken into custody on reasonable suspicion of possession of identity information and related offences.

Investigations continue.
