Call being made for urgent approval of long delayed perimeter wall project at Naggo Head Primary
A call is being made for the urgent approval of a long delayed project to construct a perimeter security wall at Naggo Head Primary School, in St. Catherine.
Member of Parliament for St. Catherine East Central, Alando Terrelonge said more than $40 million dollars allocated by the education ministry for the project has remained unused for over two years, due to pending municipal corporation approval.
He emphasized that the safety of Jamaica’s children and school community must be paramount.
According to Mr. Terrelonge, the delay is particularly troubling , given the number of security breaches that have occurred at the school in recent years.
