Two males were fatally shot by police in Johnson Hill, Falmouth, Trelawny this morning.
They have been identified as Kevon Plummer and Romario Murray.
The incident reportedly occurred at around 6:10 a.m.
Police report that the men engaged them in an armed confrontation and were wounded; they died at hospital.
A pistol was reportedly seized following the incident.
Commissioner of the Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM) Hugh Faulkner told IRIE FM News that the matter is being probed.
INDECOM is also probing 2 separate police fatal shootings in St. Catherine and St. Mary.
The incident in Kent Village, Bog Walk, St. Catherine occurred at around 5:09 this morning.
The deceased has not been identified.
A firearm was reportedly seized following the incident.
Meanwhile, in St. Mary, 41-year-old Ricardo Moodie of Penwood Road, Kingston 11, was shot dead during a police operation at around 3:13 a.m. yesterday.
Reports are that Moodie opened fire on officers.
The lawmen returned fire and Moodie was hit.
He was taken to the Port Maria Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
A .38 revolver was reportedly seized following the incident.
Since the start of the year, 72 people have been fatally shot by members of the security forces.
21 of those fatalities were recorded in the first 18 days of March.
