The Lluidas Vale main road in St. Catherine remains impassable.
This is a tractor-trailer which overturned in the vicinity of Mountain Pass, yesterday has not yet been removed.
The Jamaica Constabulary Force says a motorist who attempted to bypass the overturned truck has also become stuck, further obstructing the area. Personnel are on the scene working to clear the roadway and restore normal traffic flow.
The police are urging motorists to use the Point Hill to Shady Grove road as an alternative route, until the affected corridor has been cleared.
