Police seize over 150 rounds of ammunition in St.Catherine

Over 150 rounds of ammunition were seized in St. Catherine during an operation along Dyke Road, Portmore, St. Catherine.

Reports from the police are that on Sunday at about 9:00 p.m., a team of officers acting on information conducted an operation at a business establishment along Dyke Road.

During the search, 151 .38 rounds of ammunition were found in a plastic bag under a bucket.

One person was taken into custody in connection with the seizure; his identity is being withheld pending further investigations.
