A Colombian national was shot and killed along Oxford Road in the Corporate Area on Friday.

He is 61-year-old Julian Lopez.

Reports are that at about 9:40 P.M., residents heard explosions and summoned the police.

Upon the arrival of the lawmen, the wounded man was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
