Twenty roads in Hanover targeted for repair at a cost of $600m under (SPARK) programme – IRIE FM

Twenty roads in Hanover have been targeted for repair at a cost of 600 million dollars under the Shared Prosperity through Accelerated Improvement to our Road Network (SPARK) programme.

Many of the roadways have been in a state of disrepair for some time and needed urgent attention.

Community Relations Officer at the National Works Agency (NWA), Western Region, Janel Ricketts, outlined that the roads were chosen following consultation with residents and other stakeholders.

She also pointed out that works on some roads have already been completed, with a target of finishing all roads within 12 months.

Ms. Ricketts said the projects involve significant drainage improvement.
