No NIDS, No benefits – PM says beneficiaries must register – IRIE FM

Prime Minister Dr. Holness says persons seeking benefits from the Government will have to register under the National Identification System (NIDS).
Dr. Holness made the disclosure during a special press briefing at Jamaica House this morning.
He explained that the move aims to ensure accountability is not disregarded while the Government distributes resources to assist those affected by Hurricane Melissa.
Dr. Holness also notes that through NIDS, help can be allocated faster.
