The Trelawny police have recaptured 25-year-old murder-accused Marlo Headley, who escaped from police custody while receiving treatment at a medical facility in the Corporate Area in September.

Headley was captured during a targeted police operation in Burwood Beach, Trelawny yesterday.

Reports indicate that between 4:20 P.M. and 5:50 P.M., a team of police officers conducting targeted operations in the area observed a man matching Headley’s description.

The man was accosted and taken into custody.

It is further reported that Headley presented false identification when questioned.

However, his identity was subsequently confirmed through systematic checks.
